The Challenge
As an author living in and writing about Japan, Alex Kerr is engaged with his work in many different fields. From traditional house restoration, to holding talks on damage of the Japanese travel industry as well as pursueing calligraphy.
With a portfolio this size, the challenge consisted of creating a page structure that would still feel natural to the visitor, even with the different fields of work.
Our Strategy
They key to this portfolio and the different fields of work is the person, Alex Kerr. Presenting each field as a side of Alex and his work, instead of a service, makes the work more personal and engable for the visitor.
Explaining the background and how Alex got involved in the field, lets the visitor dive in and understand why Alex is the person he is and the work he does today.
